My AKMA 2023 (MNET #MAMA likes Controversy)

Hey Subbies,

So I made this Speedy Award show again this year because I saw that a lot of stans were mad that their faves didn't make it to the top list. For example, ATEEZ so you all know I use Show Wins as the main backing which is streams, album sales, and people's choice so y'all aren't wrong. However, if the numbers aren't there you can't blame them just one show win with good with great sales numbers isn't enough and unfortunately, there are just too many boy groups that did better overall numbers this year. Also, they took out the Hip hop/Rap category so no RM or AgustD or BIBI noms so I added them here.

Side rant: If you want good music tell your favs and don't buy albums just because they are my fav. I personally expect good quality music regardless of what genre they choose next. That being said here are the nominees...

Hey Subbies,

I have been inspired to write the post because so many people have raved about these brands over the years and I have included them almost yearly in my Korean Skincare Must Haves. I was also watching Eunice Unnie on YouTube with Ahn-nim the director of the Korean Institute of Dermatology and she went straight away to recommend a product from the brands I will be listing below. I've heard about these products since probably the mid-2010s via Wishtrend's YouTube channel a lot of brands exclusively sold at the time. The channel was geared to Western audiences and had a very HSN or QVC style of selling the brands. They are known mostly for selling Klairs and I'M FROM bundles but they now carry brands like ELMT, COSRX, ROVECTIN, and so on. Also, my favorite Korean-based and Western-based skincare enthusiasts have bi-annual bundles that you can buy at a discount. So this post going to act as a main point reference because you probably seen a product from one of these brands but didn't know the brand had other cult favorites. I personally bought dear Klairs but it was usually as a gift for others.

Bibi Blade

I was waiting for Sunmi's Stranger to release her song before posting this. She literally has a hold on me with her performance driven music. She was giving Bride of Frankenstein tease but with the glamour of a Lily Monster and Morticia Addams. But the song overall's premise is writer's block and it kind of reminded me a little of Gwen's What Waiting For? but darker (a lot of songs year got me thinking about Gwen's music). TXT and IVE also had a comeback recently but their song from earlier this year made it to the list. Also, I'm really happy Lightsum and tripleS are back, and their new songs are doing good. Oh, and I also add gifs from media that I feel like the producer might have gotten inspo from. Also, I'm excited to see the next steps of LOONA (ARTMs, Loosemble, Chuu, YVES since now all girls their have creative freedom.

Side rant: I'm also trying to see if I can upgrade or build a new PC because it's about that time again and our economy is what is. I bought a hard drive recently during the Prime sale so I'll probably start putting a wishlist for Black Friday and Cyber Monday and I'll have to make arrangements to get that done or have someone help me build it because installing the chip and PCU is the hardest part for me.
