So I was on Facebook and I when looking at updates my friends were putting but also notice something from Tokyo Fashion. Apparently, Sweet Streets is an artist management firm specializing in the representation of artists of the kawaii movement. Established in 2011, with business based in Los Angeles and Tokyo, Sweet Streets maintains relationships with international galleries and retailers to encourage new trends in the art world. They represent selected artists Chikuwaemil, Eimi, Luke Chueh, and Shojono Tomo.
Preseting "MY LITTLE PONY Project 2012 Los Angeles, a charitable art exhibition inspired by MY LITTLE PONY."
"Hasbro's MY LITTLE PONY Project returns in 2012 with a year-long global celebration of MY LITTLE PONY: Friendship Is Magic, a charitable art exhibition inspired by MY LITTLE PONY. 2012 marks the first world tour of the MY LITTLE PONY Project, engaging talents in Los Angeles, New York, and Tokyo, Japan.
This special exhibition launches in Los Angeles on May 5, 2012 at Toy Art Gallery and will showcase the MY LITTLE PONY Project charity ponies, 18" MY LITTLE PONY figures designed by international fine artists, and MY LITTLE PONY pop-up shop by WeLoveFine. Select shops from Toy Art Gallery to JapanLA, Joyrich, Munky King, and more will host secret pony items, turning Melrose Avenue into "MY LITTLE PONY Avenue". Please join us in celebrating the world of MY LITTLE PONY."
