Happy National Comic Day and Cinco de mayo

What is Free Comic Book Day?

Free Comic Book Day is a single day - the first Saturday in May each year - when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE* to anyone who comes into their stores. *Check with your local shop for their participation and rules.

Am planing on going to Golden Apple Comics bookstore just before I go to my "little pony event" at JapanLA shop. They are both located near my old stomping grounds of one the most trendiest and diverse streets in LA, Melrose Avenue.

If your not sure where you can find comic shops in your area here is link to help you out:

Korean Fest 2012

Hey guys,
I finally finish editing KMF I have it unlisted on YouTube so you won't see it there but click on uploads and might show there or in my other playlists. You can also buy KMF 2012 cd from the website. It was fun but weird b/c I am not Korean and ppl were like why are you here but I didn't care. My mom was with me and she had a good time too even though she didn't understand the language but she's some is an awesome at recognizing the beat of the song since she's an old school Motown and R&B fiend. The food was pricey but really good. I really like Kyung ho he an awesome head banger. Here are some picks. Enjoy! (Also it might not work in some countries, sorry guys)

Foods of the season [May]

-Happy Eating

I also want to let you guys know that in California their trying to pass a bill that will allow GMO/GMC/GMO to be label. Please get informed about what's going with Corp. and America Corp. food industry(they think that Americans will become panicked which is ironic). If you are 20 like myself , have you seen or been a part of the high obesity, autism, and cancer well it has do with introduction of these new creations.

In 1992, rgbst was introduced into the market. What is rbst, well its human growth hormone and thus food began to change and this new foods along with other man made foods was called Frankenstein, the greatest creation, Franken food. Remind of how the power girls were born. But, what's better than the Truth? If you haven't notice oranges, grapes, and some watermelons have no seeds anymore (think about it. . .why would they(corp.) do that?). When I found out, I was turning 19 and did my research about this issue and I was extremely pissed me off and I wanted to do everything in power to stop this because they say "It was supposed to help feed the world," it been about 20 years. and they haven't accomplished anything yet. My mom is allergic to avocados and I'm allergic to olive oil and my co-worker is allergic to peanuts. So when you go to your on daily work and you see guys asking to sign bills, please ask for AB 88 Bill and sign it.

"Human health risks

Allergenic, many children in the US and Europe have developed life-threatening allergies to peanuts and other foods. There is a possibility that introducing a gene into a plant may create a new allergen or cause an allergic reaction in susceptible individuals. A proposal to incorporate a gene from Brazil nuts into soybeans was abandoned because of the fear of causing unexpected allergic reactions31. Extensive testing of GM foods may be required to avoid the possibility of harm to consumers with food allergies. Labeling of GM foods and food products will acquire new importance, which I shall discuss later.

Unknown effects on human health There is a growing concern that introducing foreign genes into food plants may have an unexpected and negative impact on human health. A recent article published in Lancet examined the effects of GM potatoes on the digestive tract in rats32, 33. This study claimed that there were appreciable differences in the intestines of rats fed GM potatoes and rats fed unmodified potatoes. Yet critics say that this paper, like the monarch butterfly data, is flawed and does not hold up to scientific scrutiny34. Moreover, the gene introduced into the potatoes was a snowdrop flower lectin, a substance known to be toxic to mammals. The scientists who created this variety of potato chose to use the lectin gene simply to test the methodology, and these potatoes were never intended for human or animal consumption.
On the whole, with the exception of possible allergenic, scientists believe that GM foods do not present a risk to human health."

I guess a apple a day may do more than just keep the doctor away.
