Foods of the season [May]

-Happy Eating

I also want to let you guys know that in California their trying to pass a bill that will allow GMO/GMC/GMO to be label. Please get informed about what's going with Corp. and America Corp. food industry(they think that Americans will become panicked which is ironic). If you are 20 like myself , have you seen or been a part of the high obesity, autism, and cancer well it has do with introduction of these new creations.

In 1992, rgbst was introduced into the market. What is rbst, well its human growth hormone and thus food began to change and this new foods along with other man made foods was called Frankenstein, the greatest creation, Franken food. Remind of how the power girls were born. But, what's better than the Truth? If you haven't notice oranges, grapes, and some watermelons have no seeds anymore (think about it. . .why would they(corp.) do that?). When I found out, I was turning 19 and did my research about this issue and I was extremely pissed me off and I wanted to do everything in power to stop this because they say "It was supposed to help feed the world," it been about 20 years. and they haven't accomplished anything yet. My mom is allergic to avocados and I'm allergic to olive oil and my co-worker is allergic to peanuts. So when you go to your on daily work and you see guys asking to sign bills, please ask for AB 88 Bill and sign it.

"Human health risks

Allergenic, many children in the US and Europe have developed life-threatening allergies to peanuts and other foods. There is a possibility that introducing a gene into a plant may create a new allergen or cause an allergic reaction in susceptible individuals. A proposal to incorporate a gene from Brazil nuts into soybeans was abandoned because of the fear of causing unexpected allergic reactions31. Extensive testing of GM foods may be required to avoid the possibility of harm to consumers with food allergies. Labeling of GM foods and food products will acquire new importance, which I shall discuss later.

Unknown effects on human health There is a growing concern that introducing foreign genes into food plants may have an unexpected and negative impact on human health. A recent article published in Lancet examined the effects of GM potatoes on the digestive tract in rats32, 33. This study claimed that there were appreciable differences in the intestines of rats fed GM potatoes and rats fed unmodified potatoes. Yet critics say that this paper, like the monarch butterfly data, is flawed and does not hold up to scientific scrutiny34. Moreover, the gene introduced into the potatoes was a snowdrop flower lectin, a substance known to be toxic to mammals. The scientists who created this variety of potato chose to use the lectin gene simply to test the methodology, and these potatoes were never intended for human or animal consumption.
On the whole, with the exception of possible allergenic, scientists believe that GM foods do not present a risk to human health."

I guess a apple a day may do more than just keep the doctor away.

"Sweet" came with this Jill Stuart pink tote bag and Biteki came a with small abstract makeup tote/bag and "Lunasol Moist conditoin mask", maybe I can do my first review on it and in magazine there is a Clarin white plus serum sample. Biteki is a skincare and cosmetic magazine.

The Korean Music Festival [Los Angeles]

In 2003, the inaugural Korean Music Festival was brought to Southern California by the Korea Times to create a memorable night of music and harmony among Korean Americans.

The Korea Times, as the leading news organization in the Korean American community, set into motion a variety of plans to commemorate the centennial anniversary of Korean American immigration to the United States and boldly presented a grandiose show that had never been attempted before. As one of the largest music festivals throughout Southern California, the Korean Music Festival's one of a kind program brings to our patrons only the most noted artists of Korea to celebrate the lives of Korean Americans of all generations. Each year, the Festival surpasses all expectations and records as it takes root as a Korean American tradition.

The inaugural concert in 2003 featured more than 18 top-tiered artists from Korea, and aroused overwhelming encouragement and anticipation from the community. With such attention, the inaugural concert successfully opened to a sold-out show, selling out 18,000 seats in a mere 14 days. As a single concert, it is the largest in its scale, demonstrating a cohesive marketing effort that had never been tested in major venues. With enormous support from corporate sponsors and the community, the Korean Music Festival at the Hollywood Bowl continues to gain indisputable popularity and reputation as it records a sellout every year.

The Korean Music Festival is held at the world-famous Hollywood Bowl and attracts people not only from Southern California, but also from the rest of the nation and the world.

The Korean Music Festival at the Hollywood Bowl puts its patrons at the center of the Korean Wave that is sweeping across Asia. Globally renowned artists such as BoA and Rain have graced the stages of the Korean Music Festival to elevate it into an occasion enjoyed by Koreans and non-Koreans alike.

E-shoppers, forget about beware and listen up!

Hey guys,
So I wanted to buy a motherboard from a website but I also wanted to see a review from customers. I found that 5/10 like the site and the rest had some complaints on customer service and they didn't receive an invoice. When it come tech buying, make sure the website is for you but you can always try eBay I guess. Anyway here is list I think you should follow when you make your next tech buy online because sometimes you'll loss big time.
Now if the website/store is far from where you live than you should definitely follow these rules.

1.) Make sure the item is stock!(A lot of companies don't update their websites like they should.)Call their toll free hotline speak to a Representative. Write down their name, date, and time.If they seem shady don't make a order.

2.)If they have it in stock make the purchase but also document your purchase by taking screen shoots.(windows PrtScn/SysRq.\ Mac shift+command+3/4)

3.) If you haven't received an invoice of your purchase then email them asking for a corformation number and a tracking number and if possible a picture of the product you have purchased. If you haven't heard anything back call them and ask them, also writing down the persons name, date, and time. If they can not answer the questions you ask, then ask to speak with manager.

4.) Worst case if haven't received your product or the right product or nothing at all. Go file a compliant with company on their website and ask for a refund then make a copy of this compliant and send it to the top person (ceo/manager).

5.) If nothing is done about the issue gather all your documents and any thing you have received back from company. And write to Consumer Reports mail and email these document to them also keep a copy for yourself.

6.) Lastly, call your credit card company and ask if there had been tranction taken place from the company. If so ask to fight the transaction and tell them I have all the information that had taken place from the day of purchase to present and if you can mail/ email it to them so they can do an investigation. This may take awhile so be patient.(also get the the reps name, date, and time.)

Hopefully this will help you a lot BC a lot companies nowadays like to cause us consumers a lot grief over material things so they can make buck off you.

Have great day guys.
Seeya.
