Hey Subbies,
Here is part 2 from my trip with my mom to South Africa. We had two layovers in London but this year's weather has been insane. We had a very short layover when we first got into the UK so we couldn't venture out of the Heathrow airport at all. When we were coming back to the states we had a very long layover in Heathrow so we decide to run into the windy-rainy-hurrican weather to see the sites. Also, our plane going home made it on the news and our bags were stuck in London. If you don't know every 20 years a lot of cities try to revamp old buildings and transportation hubs so just like when I went to Japan Tokyo, London was also doing mass construction and restoration projections. Alot the construction was projected to be done by 2020 but hasn't yet of course. The terrible part unlike coming home from my trip to Japan two years ago it took forever to get thru US customs. I'm not surprised when people were rushing home from abroad that it would be a hot mess of a show. Anyways, hope this gives you some semblance of what was. ~ Enjoy
